Alain Coppolani - Affiliated Consultant
Alain Coppolani is a PhD candidate in Economy, an AAOIFI Certified Professional in Shari'ah Standards (CPSS) and holds an EMBA in Islamic Finance, as well as several degrees in languages and civilization (persian, pashto, romanian). His PhD thesis deals with the history and development of the financial system in Afghanistan, with a particular focus on microfinance and the shift from conventional to shari'ah compliant banking in the recent years. Alain's deep research work and on-the-ground experience offers him a solid expertise in the Central Asian region, especially Afghanistan and Ouzbekistan.

Jamil Henni - Founder and Consultant
Jamil holds several degrees and certificates in business, corporate finance and Islamic Finance, including a master degree in international business, a Corporate Finance Certificate from HEC Paris and an EMBA in Islamic Finance. He is also an AAOIFI Certified Professional in Shari'ah Standards (CPSS) and has written several articles for Islamic Finance News. After starting his career in strategic marketing, Jamil had an extensive corporate banking experience from 2015 to 2023 in France, Finland and Sweden. He then founded SBSC in 2024 to develop solutions for the islamic finance industry in France and abroad.
